As the economy begins to get back up and running, the Shipleys' team want to ensure that support for owner managed businesses in the UK is targeted where it is most needed.

This will rely on the Government having the evidence base to prioritise effectively.  We’d therefore like to invite you to take part in a UK-wide study of owner managed businesses.

As you may know Shipleys is a member of the Association of Practicing Accountants (APA), a network of 20 professional service firms who collaborate on industry issues so that we can provide better representation and support to the owner managed business sector.

In the last two years we have launched findings with the Government and media from research looking at the impact of Covid-19 on business. You can read the findings in these reports:

Please tell us your views

We would like to invite you to participate in this next (very short) survey that will enable us to continue to provide insight to Government and Parliament on your behalf.

This will help us highlight the very latest issues affecting owner managed businesses in the current climate – for example, the impact of inflation and energy pricing, as well as the post-pandemic trading environment.

The survey should take no more than several minutes to complete and will help us ensure you are getting the support you need.  Please click on the link below and let us have your views:

Take part in the survey

All submissions will be anonymised, and we will use the aggregated findings to inform our policy development and media commentary.

With thanks and best wishes
