Mike Luckett

Work and clients

Mike is responsible for the day-to-day running of Shipleys’ two tax departments in London and Godalming. His key focus is on private clients including expatriates and non-UK domiciliaries, more complicated UK tax planning, cross-border tax advice and HM Revenue & Customs tax investigations. As a former HMRC Officer he is well aware of the procedure from the other side of the fence.

The route to Shipleys

Mike worked for HM Revenue & Customs before joining a predecessor firm of Shipleys in 1979. He was made a principal in 1998.
