Matt supports a range of clients and has a specialism in the film and television, and renewable energy sectors. He regularly helps businesses such as production houses, as well as film and television production special purpose vehicles (SPVs) who are claiming tax incentives. Matt also supports groups of renewable energy companies. His work involves managing audits, preparing statutory accounts, and working on other assurance engagements. He always enjoys assisting clients on the more technical areas of engagements.
After graduating from the University of Birmingham with a master’s degree in chemical engineering in 2019, Matt joined Shipleys in January 2021. He successfully gained his ACA qualification and was promoted to Audit Supervisor in January 2024.
Matt is a member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales
In his spare time, Matt loves both watching and playing sport. He is an avid supporter of Liverpool football club and Sales Sharks rugby club. Matt also enjoys reading, learning French, and scuba diving, whenever possible!
