Keith Hardy

Work and clients

Keith’s main area of focus is providing financial and tax advice to owner-managed businesses, individuals and families. He deals with IHT and estate planning and estate administration, and is a trustee of family trusts and executor of wills. Having run his own accountancy practice for many years, Keith very much understands the hopes and fears of clients running their own businesses.

The route to Shipleys

Keith qualified with PKF in Liverpool in 1972, transferring to their London office 1973 where he became an audit manager. He had a spell with Chantry Vellacott before setting up Smith Pearman in 1980. Keith became a consultant when Smith Pearman and Shipleys merged in 2016.

Interests outside work

Yacht and dinghy sailing. Keith is a qualified yachtmaster. Cycling. Belatedly endeavouring to master playing the flute.
