Josh supports a wide range of clients including sole traders, directors of owner-managed businesses, high-net-worth individuals and non-UK residents.
He advises on many personal tax matters, giving advice and helping to support people’s tax compliance. In doing so, he has a particular specialism in Capital Gains Tax, tax relating to property income, as well as P11D issues and tax in relation to employee benefits. Josh also advises on tax-efficient profit extraction from a business.
In his work, Josh greatly enjoys solving problems and finding the best solution for his clients. He also invests time in building long-standing client relationships and tailoring advice to individual client circumstances.
Josh gained a Degree in Business Economics from the University of Liverpool in 2011. After several years in retail management, he joined Shipleys in 2019. Since then, he has completed his Association of Taxation Technicians qualifications and supported many clients with personal tax matters.
