David Crow

Work and clients

David supports clients in a variety of sectors including Property, Film and TV. His work involves co-ordinating, organising and leading audits as well as accounts preparations and assisting with clients’ ad hoc questions. David has also developed a specialism in the charity sector and often assists charities with their audits and independent examinations.

The route to Shipleys

After graduating from the University of Exeter with a BSc in Mathematics with Accountancy, David began his career at a small accounting firm as a Trainee Accounts Assistant. In 2018 he joined Shipleys to continue his training and qualified in July 2021. Since qualifying David has been promoted to Supervisor (2023) and then to Assistant Manager in January 2024.

David is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA)

Interests outside work

In his spare time David plays for his local water polo team – continuing the sport he learned at university. He also enjoys participating in a variety of other sports. This includes playing football with Shipleys colleagues at the various games the firm organises. David is also an Explorer Scout Leader and often leads groups of explorer scouts in camps and various outdoor activities.
